Palestine is not just a name or a place on the map. It is a land of deep history, great faith, and unimaginable pain. It holds a special place in the hearts of millions of Muslims around the world, as it is home to Al-Aqsa Mosque—the first Qibla of Islam and the third holiest site after Makkah and Madinah. The Holy Qur'an mentions Palestine in Surah Al-Isra: “Glory be to the One who took His servant by night from Masjid al-Haram to Masjid al-Aqsa, whose surroundings We have blessed.” (Surah Al-Isra: 1) This verse shows that Palestine is a land blessed by Allah, and it has always been important to the Prophets and the followers of truth. Today, Palestine is suffering. Children grow up under fear, not freedom. Mothers cry for their lost sons. The sounds of bombs replace the sounds of laughter. Homes are destroyed. Lives are lost. Yet, the people of Palestine stand strong, brave, and hopeful. The issue of Palestine is not only about land; it is about justice, freedom, and humanity. Every child deserves peace. Every family deserves safety. Every nation deserves independence. We may be far from Palestine, but our voices can still help. We can pray, speak, write, and raise awareness. We can stand for justice and remember the oppressed. Being silent is not an option when people are suffering. Palestine is the land of Prophets, the land of faith, and today, the land of resistance. Let us keep Palestine in our hearts, in our duas (prayers), and in our actions. One day, in shaa Allah, Palestine will be free, and peace will return to its blessed soil.
