Shah parir dwip is a beautiful and charming place of Teknaf Upazila. It’s a unique and lovely island. There is a legend that Shah parir dwip island was named after Shah Suja’s wife Pari banu ‘Pari’ and Shah Suja ‘Shah’. According to another option, The name of Shah Farid awliya is the name of this island. The name of Shah parir dwip has several histories but not authentic. It’s located in Teknaf upazila under Cox’s bazar district. The nature of Shah parir dwip looks like a fairy. As people fall in love with fairies, the also fall in love with this island. Naf river is one of the east side of Shah parir dwip. The Bay of bengal is located on the southern and western sites. Many people of this Island earn their livehood by fishing in the sea and naf river. Their life is a struggle but they are very happy. because they feel happiness in struggle. There is a large area of salt field between this island and naya para. The salt field add to the beauty of this island. A road in the middle of the salt field is like a magical black line in the holy white. When you see working people in the salt field; it seems as if the stars are shining in the sky. The morning of this island starts with the sound of Fazar. Thre red glow of the early morning sun is touching the Easter horizon. The winter morning view of this island is more pleasant. The heart gets cold as soon as you step on the dew wet grass. The chirping og the birds in the morning fills the mind. The silence of the after noon is another gentle aspect of this island. Before the Azan of Asar , the sky is covered with twilight . May the sun return to its nest in the west. Then this island looks more magical. Before the sunset of the evening ends, the sky is covered with night. Gradually the rays of the moon came and made the mind. What a wonderful creation of Allah! Silence descends as the night deepens. All is all, the beauty of this island is like a picture painted by an artist and a poem wrriten by a poet.
